Was thinking about you (rather this great thread) the other evening as i carelessly ripped out Team Captain tokens, i accidentally downgraded Eric Berry one level too far and now i am no longer able to receive x3 49ers team chems, ahhh well. That's a real bummer. Will almost certainly regret that in the future. Although, at this rate, legit theme teams might not ever make a comeback. What are the chances i'm still running 70/70 Superbowl team in May or June? ;-P

A shame that there is no balance in this game. Partially because of EA not knowing how to give deserving players appropriate upgrades at appropriate times, but moslty because EA is squeezing every last cent out of everyone by making program TTs the way to go. Sucks that you made the mistake, but it is what it is. Hopefully it doesn't affect you that much in the future.

I'm just trying to avoid a repeat of `23, when i accidentally burned on of the crucial (9/9) Boosted Theme Team Remix players before i understood the importance of a random Lions safety or whatever it was at the time. Perpetually stranded me at 8/9 boosted 49ers team chems, so i wasn't ever able to achieve all three sets / boosts. Still salty over them giving that Quicksell status, oof. Was hoping for some type of similar boosted theme team options this year, alas -- we keep getting the flavor of the week, as you pointed out, crucial component to EA's ongoing grifting efforts.
