Defense - Coverage:
- Max lag time for man coverage is 1 second
- 0.5 second break on ball penalty in the event of vision loss
- Max trail distance is 5 yards for man coverage
Vision loss:
- 0.5 second break on ball penalty in the event of vision loss
- Vision loss is when the defender is not looking at the QB
- The defender is more likely to/less likely to look at the QB based on their AWR (Awareness) rating.
- Hence, the higher the awareness, the closer the defender may play in MCV

Nano Detection:
- Only applies in online games
- Maximum time for nano to occur via pass rush is 1.5 seconds
- Maximum time for pass protection when the offense is outnumbered via pass rush is 0.75 seconds
- Amount of time for pass protection vs user rusher is 0.75 seconds regardless
"Weak Box":
- Disabled if defense is up by 8 or more points
- Disabled most times if there is less than 60 seconds left in the half
- Defense has 15% less speed, strength, tackle, awareness, agility, acceleration when being "weak-boxed"

Offensive - Basics:
- Offensive players have a 70% minimum catch chance if wide open

Tipped Passes:
- Tipped passes below the waist increase catch difficulty by 50%.
- Tipped passes while jumping increase catch difficulty by 80%.
Knockouts:
- Catch knockouts scale directly to the severity of the hit
- Being tackled midair while catching the ball increases knockout chance by 45%
- High Passes increase knockout chance by 10%
- RAC Catches increase knockout chance by 25%
- Possession catches decrease knockout chance by 20%
- Impact with an additional defender during catch adds 50% knockout chance
Other:
- Defensive lineman have a 25% catch chance penalty
- Defensive players catching over the shoulder have an 80% catch penalty

Fumbling:

- Additional defender adds 50% catch chance reduction
- Defenders in the secondary must be within 3.5 yards to impact catch chance
- Using a secure catch on offense decreases interception chance by 10%, decreases break tackle chance by 10%
- 24% base interception chance on contested catches
- 24% base broken tackle chance on contested catches
