So I was playing H2H and I threw the ball to Megatron, he got KO’d and the ball went in the air, and then John Lynch intercepted the ball. The thing is, I did not see any ability activate when Lynch picked the ball, so the next drive I looked and Lynch’s only ability was crusher, so how did he catch a tipped ball without tip drill or pick artist?

Because he’s a hall of famer and even without abilities can still catch tipped balls. It’s realistic for John Lynch to do that. I have seen some of my linebackers make lurking catches without lurker though which is sketchy. Good news is that doesn’t happen much, so hope it works in your favor moving forward

They CAN be caught anyway, it's just extremely unlikely I believe.

Abilities enhance what a player can do, but their natural ability isn’t zero without them. It’s more likely with them, but not surprising without.
