I really don't understand the CB's in MUT its like stats don't matter my Marlon Humphrey still plays better than the Ed,Deion, and literally everyone else ive used hes just such a demon like the animations he gets those other guys don't get even with lurker and acrobat. Does anyone else feel like the stats just don't matter or is that just me?
Stats to a point matter yes. After that its up to play/height-weight

But yet again height and weight do nothing really atleast for me so ig my players are just weird :) Thanks for the feedback tho.
There are several things to consider with what you’re saying. The same can also be said for safeties and WR’s.
Part of this is that there are thresholds and most of them are around 90, some are even lower. So even though there’s shiny new players with all 99 attributes they don’t necessarily play better than the cards you’ve been using for 3+ months.
Another part of this is that depending on how you choose to use a player can determine how well that player works for you. If someone puts Marlon Humphrey in their scheme he may not play as well for them.
Also I believe EA does individualize each player and maybe even each card to an extent. So that they play different from each other. With this players do animate differently, even WR’s make cuts earlier or later in their routes and to me it seems like AGI & COD don’t always matter with this even though I would think they should.
Now for the Height/Weight discussion I don’t think it matters as much as people think. I think weight matters most in the run game. I think height helps more as a user than anything else. Obviously it doesn’t hurt to have taller DB’s and WR’s but abilities/animations seem to overrule physical attributes a lot of the time.
*Disclaimer:
I have only played on old gen so my opinions on this likely are not what people experience on next gen.

Yea I play on old gen too thank you for explaining that more its still weird to me how bad the game is tho like u say the 90 thershold which is dumb as hell that a 90 ovr corner can play just as good as a 99 cb. Thank you :)

not sure, I got 98 Aaron Glenn (99 with chems) and even though he is short he is a monster for me
