Champions Mode is DRIVING ME CRAZY

So I spent the last week or so not playing actual football gameplay, but sniping on the auction block and got really lucky with some snipes

Ended up with about 8 million coins, so built a Super Team on Defense

Derwin, Charles Woodson, Fruit Punch, Troy P, Simmons, Myles Garrett, Q Williams, Vita Vea

Yet, I'm still getting smoked on defense, my players play like theyre 80 overalll

Even on run commits, my 4 man front gets plowed over my mid 80 OLines

Fruit Punch will get mossed by Brandin Coooks and Devin Hester, even though he has better speed, he cant keep up with them on streaker routes

When I play Zone, the DBs stand there and wont make a play on the ball, even if its less than 3 feet away from them...sometimes they even run away from the WR that enters their zone

My sub nickle LB safeties cant keep up with slower TEs on mid crossing routes, so I basically cover one with my user, then the other will run scott free...same with cover 4 zone defense sets

Some games I still dominate, but others, I cant get a stop for anything...against offensive players mid 80s

Kudos on the 8 mil from sniping. That’s impressive.. 

as far as the rest of your post, that’s my gripe with the game right now as well. It just seems like every player, regardless of overall, all play the same. The only thing that matters is abilities. Without abilities, even the best cards in the game are meh.

Good job on the build and the coin stack...now as for the cards not playing up to the their numbers...that ain't new.  I only been playing MUT for 4 years or so and the only consistent thing I have noted is...cards do not play to their numbers game in and game out.  I will say that EA is fair about being unfair...in that my 85 spd WR will outrun a 90 CB just as often as my players get smoked by low overalls.  I "think" EA is trying to make it competitive...I have found chasing upgrades is fun...but rarely wins me any additional games.  Good luck...EA will turn it around for you soon and have your cards playing great (don't get comfortable with that...cause you know the other shoe is gonna fall).
