If you unironically use the phrase cheese to describe an offense you’re probably bad. If I throw a corner route on your cover 2 and it’s deeply upsetting to you, man him up. If you don’t have man abilities that’s a decision you made. Not every offense should be stoppable by every defense
Nah if you defend this garbage you prolly have zero football IQ, never played the game irl and cant think on your own lol

No I’m not defending cheese; I’m talking when people call routes that beat their shitty zone or man scheme cheese. Not the running stuff, that’s just boring. I grew up in Europe so I couldn’t play irl :/ and I don’t run cheese myself lol. I’m just saying people whine about it so much and it comes across as really whiny, when they just don’t know how to win at this video game

The example I gave was a corner route on a cover 2 shell which is really common irl

This a YouTube strategy, used along with the cousin of this cheese, the slot WR cross route while QB bootlegs into a 10 yard run if you stick with the wide out & a 10-15 yard pass if you break off to stop the run.
Easy fix with a robber zone or QB spy tho. :p
If either of these were ever called and caused trouble for a team on Sundays there would be new expansion teams every week. Teams would hurdle from Baltimore to Indianapolis while we slept.
If these plays were run irl as people run them in madden there would be a nationwide shortage of games to watch. People love to spam their cheese after they see it work. Entire games made up of corner and cross routes, left, right, back to back. It gets bad and those who dont know what to do only encourage this type of behavior.
Gun Tight pretty much beats every defensive coverage available lmao. Cover 4? Shot Cross. Cover 3? Quick Outs. Cover 2? Bench/corner routes.

with the exception of the tight end streak, nothing out of tight is unrealistic in terms of yeah that should be that. Run quarters with an outside third on the side opposite on the running back and a hook curl. the third will bag the deep corner route and if you’re lucky everything else too

I mean I agree but everything has a counter? That’s my point, is that if it has a counter quit whining about it and counter it

Yeah the easy fix is my point. If you can stop it easily (robber is a great way) then just do that and quit blaming the game when you lose
Sounds like something a cheeser would say.

A good Gun Tight user is pretty hard to stop… you might get like 1 or 2 lucky stops but on defense, that same person is gonna run DB Fire or some other blitz. Basically, if you got your scheme from YouTube, you’re not very good. It literally means you lack the required brain power necessary to just stand in the pocket and make reads on your own. People don’t use YouTube to get better, they use it to cheese.

Oh I didn’t get my scheme from YouTube. Throne ran something similar in madden 20 but I don’t roll out much so I can’t do what he does lol

OH to block most blitzes do 2 things
1 ensure you have as many blockers as blitzers
2 shift the line one way and Mike up the furthest away blitzer the other way
gives you time as long as you stay in the pocket
