This is an absolute troll post. But I have words for you anyway:
In real life, my same safety saw your same receiver run the same corner route out of the same formation five out of the last ten plays. In real life, he's not just shading outside, he's shading outside. In Madden, he backpedals to a spot six yards inside the numbers and stays vertically only two yards ahead of your receiver until the ball is in the air. The AI safety is late every play because he's an idiot every play.
You're trying to argue that people are complaining out of ignorance. My complaint as a football enthusiast is that Madden's AI controls simply aren't granular enough to consistently stop people that run rudimentary and transparent schemes that would get destroyed by all 32 NFL teams and some collegiate teams on any day of the week.
The only truthful thing you said was that "not every offense should be stoppable by every defense." Thank you for sharing that insight with those of us that lack your tactical brilliance.
