Coins to Team Value

How many of your coins do you typically invest into your team at one time? 50%? More or less? 

I.e. if you have 10 million coins, do you put 5 million into building your team and hold the other 5 mil for upgrades/investment/etc?

I usually use a sliding scale if you will.  As I’m building coins, I set a minimum to keep in the bank any time I upgrade.  At the beginning of the year, it might by $500K, then it goes up.  I’m currently at about $7.1 million coins with a 96 OVR.  (70 SB/6 AKA Y2K/15 KC). Decided yesterday keeping the 30 KC wasn’t worth it anymore, I don’t like being locked in with few if any open spots on the roster for upgrades, so I switched to AKA.  With combine and TOTY coming, I’ll probably build coins for a week and then try to stay above 5.5/6 million if I choose to make any upgrades.

I try and stick with something similar to this earlier on in the year.  Although at this point I am definitely playing less so I don’t really care about having a huge coin stack.

Depends, I tend to wait to make upgrades so it's not uncommon for me to spend more than 50% of my total coins on a bunch of upgrades at once. I try to stay above 1 million because you can still do a lot of the better coin methods with that much.

I usually save up and buy the latest TT at the end of season. For example, I may buy SB players when they drop for TOTY next week

i did the same last season ,  and built a 50 ZC team that i used for all of  S4

so i spend  most of my coins at once, but my teams last several weeks or more
