Coins vacated by EA

I got 700k taken today bc my cousin didn’t want his team or coins so he gave them to me. has anybody had this happen or disputed to try and get them back? I did a total of 5 transactions for ab 2 mil. I just think it’s crazy that I didn’t get a warning. It’s a shame bc we spent money on my cousins account. The good thing is I bought players with most of the coins. They essentially accused me of buying coins. It did mention apparently giving coins/players and even giveaways are illegal. They literally do giveaways. no double standard.

MUT content giveaways can be considered coin distribution which is a violation of EA's Terms of Service. Enter community giveaways at your own risk.

What you did is against TOS.  It sucks for you, but you can’t do that.

Well Yeah man unfortunately you  did exactly what they tell you not to do.  You broke their rules, you can’t give coins to anyone, you can’t buy coins from anyone.  Whether or not it was your cousin or you were buying coins there is no way to prove one way or the other, and even if you could you still broke the rules. Just hope you got a slap on the wrist and move on

And what do you mean no double standard? all the giveaways they do are for bnd cards.  They don’t ever giveaway coins so I’m not sure why you were mad at that part

There are bots running around auto-banning players for any sales that are well outside the "normal" ranges. I'm currently dealing with my second ban from auction house.

EA no-Help is not the answer, they'll offer to perform a "manual review" of your account, but I've almost never heard of them overturning these... if you get any response at all. 

I got my first infraction overturned by sending a certified letter to EA Legal. But it's not a quick process. I've got a long thread buried a while back, plus a template you can use and print out if you felt so inclined, but I'm definitely not an attorney, nor qualified to give any type of legal advice.

No one gives coins away, just FYI. Giveaways are only ever for content.
