[Comp Pass] Level 11 Rewards - 88 OVR BND - HUGE NEWS

After the fiasco that we had last Comp Pass, McCutcheon, it seems that EA is listening, even if a little bit.

According to EA: 'The Level 11 Competitive Field Pass Reward (88 OVR BND AKA Player - Choice of 1) includes both Mean Joe Greene & Edgerrin James. The 88 OVR BND item is eligible to go into sets.'

This is a HUGE change that is positive for everyone trying to build these AKA Champions. In case you weren't aware, when you complete one of the 91 Sets for AKA Champions, you get back the 88 BND for that specific player back to use to power-up the Champion. This means that you only need 5 other 88 AKA players instead of 6 now; which as of right now, if you aren't quick with sniping represents a 200k+ savings.

for sure but the whole “BND” part is supposed to mean it’s account bound. They can’t keep up with their own nonsense haha

Appreciate the update.  I don't really get on Twitter too much.  This is definitely good news.

Now they just need to fix solo battles so I actually have a chance at reaching Level 11.

Agree very much. NAT would be a huge step up for all cards versus NCAT.

I will gladly have MJG 88 on there for the Legend/Steelers TT I run. Then Ill wait forever when theyre cheaper to get the real one since I have Adams lol

I hope they do something in AM Season 2 to bring the price of AKA cards down some. I don't have a lot of hope it will happen, but it would be nice lol.

Honestly not sure how they could besides this. Giving our free pieces would bring it down or giving out an AH piece instead of NAT like this would be the biggest change.

They could add them into the TVP or put in a AKA specific reroll.

Didnt think of that. Maybe when/if it comes back they put it in the TVP reroll. Should have SOME past set pieces like this but not everything- some stuff should only be current programs like GG/MF/ZC etc. But the little non big ones should be in there for sure.

I agree, they shouldn't just dump the full AKA cards into a TVP since that would crater their value immediately (depending on pull rates), but it would be nice to have the lower pieces be more available.
