Comp Pass W and an L at the same time

for those hating on this post, please tell me if it reads competitive pass or participation pass… it’s a W they listened and took them away, but it’s an L they didn’t leave any must wins. those who are bad at the game do not deserve to track alongside those who are good. it is rough to hear but it’s the truth. In any aspect of life those who excel should always be ahead of those who lack. participation medals are for 5 year olds. they have lost the Competitive aspect of the competitive pass by removing them all entirely

I see your point but eh, i see why they did it. Pretty sure a lot of people would have stopped playing MUT if they didn't do this so it makes sense. I did enjoy the challenge of having to win but in those games where you score like 50 points with 500 yards of offense and lose, i hated it lol. Not really gonna change much for me, just going to make the grind easier

its a competitive pass. not a participation pass… i agree there were too many hard to obtain must win objectives. But taking every single one of them away removes the competitiveness and essentially makes it a participation pass. 

they should have swapped the ratio over from 3 non wins and 10 must wins to 3 must wins and 10 non wins to have some advantage to those who win their games

Yup, I'm one of those players who would probably play less comp pass modes if they didn't change it. In fact, I'm inspired to stay in games now and learn how to get better because I know any stats I get will count.

Now will there be some people who get the first 1000 rewards without winning more than 50% of their games? Probably. But I'm also willing to bet most of the people willing to grind the comp pass for first 1000 reward are good players who would have gotten it under the old system anyway. Again I acknowledge there's some people who maybe aren't the best players who will now get it. But I don't think it's going to be all terrible players getting it now.

Besides aren't good players still at a  advantage when it comes to getting stats? They're good for a reason.

People who are good will progress faster obviously  and get  rewards quicker and don't forget worse people still gotta GET those stats even losing. Huge W

Yea i agree. I'm not chasing the first 1000 since it doesn't matter to me but it's nice to know you get rewarded regardless of winning or not. So many games i scored 40-50 points and ended up losing so at least i will get those stats now lol. Really excited tho, can't wait

I do agree wins should count more than stats.  Last year had a good balance.  No idea why they changed it

I personally like the change, but I have had a ton of flukey one possession games where a ball just doesn't bounce my way, they recover their own fumble even 2 of my guys got scoop animations, they complete a pass into triple coverage, a ball once bounced off the back of my WR head and got intercepted. A pass gets a knockout animation and they scored a TD anyways. 

When those games happen, and my stats don't track it is painful. At the same time, people that are not very good shouldn't be able to put up points and accrue stats at the same clip as more talented players so you'll still have an advantage over them as well as the people that do not have time to play 25 games a week. 

a bigger better reward should be available for winning more games but someone will always find a way to glitch wins, and as soon as that happens they take the award away (see the 1 million coin reward for going 25-0). I do think the top 1000 thing is bad, a better milestone would be a ridiculously high win rate, like winning 100+ mut champs by a specific date or something. I agree winning should be rewarded more highly, but I think there's still a way where the casual players can still get 90% of the content while the top players get a couple extra things as well.

lol my friend complains about this in seasons all the time. Whenever he goes up by 14+ he expects his opponent to quit and gets irritated when they stay the whole game

what really hurt was returning a kick for a td and then losing a close game and not getting credit for that milestone

I myself am very happy with the changes /content .
