Competive Pass Season XP work for Season 2?

The competitive pass ends 2 days after the season 1 Pass.  I'm thinking that I'll stop doing the competive pass right before the Season XP reward.  

Does anyone know if the XP from Comp pass will work for season 2?

That's how it worked last year. I'm not sure if EA has confirmed anything about it this year. We may not even know until season 2 releases.
