Useless? Kicker is solid. Hendricks is solid. Promo itself is small, but fine. These players will make the team for someone rather new or more casual.

I'm guessing this promo was used before. Did it used to have much more content? And I think this promo is a W the way it's setup. Just complete challenges and objectives (hopefully that count within challenges and not just online play) and you get an 88 player. For my team the 88 Hendricks and 88 Gonzalez are the only ones I want, but they're all still usable. Definitely not useless.
For sure if people were expecting a field pass, a ton of players, etc then I can see how it's disappointing. But these are cards that everyone can get, there's no pack luck or major grinding you have to worry about, etc.

Five 88 OVRs for hardly any grinding is very generous but I think the program did get pared down significantly. Very barebones promo but I'll take it. Good promo for NMS players.

Agreed.
Unless you're running a strict theme team, at minimum, Hendricks and Zane are usable/good cards. The only "bad" card is Plunkett, but 3 AP fearless isn't awful on him.

Yeah I think Zane and Hendricks will be the most usable (rip lb jumps though).
Hopefully they can be upped to 93 or a master or something. Everyone else though already has something similar or free from CH/UK/GG sets.

I dont get why they gave us a full linebacking core lol. my linebackers are some of my best players so i wont be able to use a lot of these

One usable player for free isnt bad, maybe two with Hendricks but he isnt going to be relevant for long.
This feels like a promo they had planned to release a few weeks ago but didnt make it in time.
My sense is that they had an obligation from the NFL to do this and got it in just in time.
The NFL announced this on Sept. 15th.
