Agree with this entirely. Ratings dont even matter its just whatever player has the ‘meta’ stack or whatever

Gameplay is so slow without abilities

It's going to make the cards that do have abilities that much more expensive though.

I don’t like this phrasing. The more skillful player is the one who wins more games because they are better at madden. Lol

They should remove abilities entirely from the game. Fine tune ratings and how different levels react in the game.

When they get that fixed, they should blow up the OOP non-sense that has gotten out of control.

There are definitely players who win games with skill with or without abilitie. But X factor freight train takes no skill to be semi competetive. I just feel like if abilities were removed we’d have realistic gameplay based on strategic in game adjustments and play calls instead of meta abilities that can ONLY be stopped by other meta abilities

We are going to see a lot of Bryce Young out there on the Madden field. 
 

The baked in QuickDraw and 80 level stays at all key categories makes him the go to early on.
