Could You Make It Between Tomorrow and January 2025 Without Buying a Pack or Playing Any H2H?

There has been off-and-on talk about pack strikes over the years. The way to really force EA to change things is to deprive them of the critical parts of the H2H food chain that keep the game engaging for big spenders. If there's no one for them to bully, and only a handful of legitimate MCS-caliber players, it severely curtails purchases of today's Opportunity Packs.

Imagine two or three minutes passing on the matchup screen at ordinary hours of the day. That's what I'm talking about.

Would you swear off all H2H Madden and any in-game purchases for the ordinarily most profitable six weeks of EA's year if you knew in the end EA would acknowledge that they messed up, and that they are changing how they will manage MUT?

LOL sorry couldn't keep a straight face. Yeah I'm in. I wasn't doing either to begin with at this point though.

But could you follow up your decision with abstinence from H2H? Even if EA offered something amazing in a House Rules or some other special H2H event?

Pack strikes don't work if the servers are still populated. If EA sees servers near idle levels when they want to sell Blitz, and later, Zero Chill, heads would roll if they did nothing.

Honestly, I admire your stance but I don't own the game to play solos. Fwiw I don't really buy much, never really any packs, my total investment including buying the game is 66 thus far. But yeah, those passes are way too good value not to get for me

Of course. You're not playing Solos to love Madden. You're playing Solos for six weeks (or doing something different entirely) for a better future football game.

This is a lost cause. One day after the Team Diamonds desaster you have all these content creators telling their viewers how the premium field pass (how ridiculous this thing is to begin with ) is such great value. 
The very people that lost their minds on Tuesday, have already bought it. The very people that then were mad about EA rather implementing Saquon's hurdle instead of fixing Zone Logics, DBs blatantly dopping picks etc. will buy a bundle tonight. 

If people would be more restrictive with their wallets and react to what EA is offering them (which is screwjobs) we wouldn't even have a product like this. The state of the game, the programs and their communication is just a reflection of the fact that revenue from microtransactions is still plenty good.

Who buys packs anyways? I started 3 weeks ago nms and I'm an 88 already, super easy and not very much grinding as in years past. I also took about 2-3 years off of mut, still easy to build a team and be competitive if you can find a scheme that works for you. As far as h2h, it's still a shitshow so yes could take a break from it easily.

I bought it aswell but gonna sell my mut coins for money so we fine almost have 5 mill that around $110
