So my PS4 just broke and I was thinking of upgrading to PS5. My only problem is that I don’t know if I’ll be able to play MUT Squads with my buddies on PS4? I have Dual-Entitlement already, but does that allow you to play Squads with your PS4 buddies?

I don't believe u can cross play it because it's much different gameplay but I could be wrong.

Im pretty sure you can download the ps4 version on the ps5 though. It’s super confusing.

That actually does ring a bell, ik you can play in ps4 franchise leagues on a ps5 but I do not know the exact way that is done

I play both current and next gen with my buddies on xbox, if you preordered the highest version of the game, then you have access to dual entitlement which means that you have access to both current and next gen and you just have to download them (Xbox Series X/S or PS5 only!). If you don't have dual entitlement then you will still have access to current gen, if you are using the same account that had the game before and you're just updating your console, and no access to next gen madden unless you buy it. If you want to play with them you need to be in/have current gen madden on the PS5, otherwise they won't be able to join you because they can't get in next gen madden beacuse they have a current gen console.

So you are able to play both Next Gen and current gen Madden on the XboX series S ? Are you accessing the same team or do you have 2 separate teams? Or are you using 2 different consoles?

Same team for both next gen and current gen I play on series X and have current and next gen from dual entitlement.

They cannot play together, but you can download both versions and play them interchangeably.

Yes, that's exactly correct, the PS5/Xbox Series X both act as both generations for all intents and purposes, so it will be just like playing on the PS4, just with the better controller and more processing power and such.
