defence is impossible, kick returns are super OP

man. played a few h2h games, so many kick off TDs and i find it impossible to make stops on defence. all my games have been 30+ points for both teams

games also have 5 minute quarters. sheeesh

It’s just because it’s the beginning of the year. Kick returns are always op until you get good depth. As far as defense, just gotta figure it out. The metas and certain things from last year aren’t as efficient this year.

Yeah, my zone defenders play like high schoolers, if the receiver isn’t right on top of them they don’t even notice the guy in their zone

My first H2H game I lost to one play over and over.…. It’s going to be a HB stretch year fellas. I haven’t yet even had the opportunity to defend a pass.

I'm so glad I decided to stay with the old gen version of the game for one more year. The game plays is decent... and they seem to have fixed the FG Block exploit.

I got my new series X console a long time ago and planned to transition at the end of M23. But after about 2 weeks on the game I knew it wasn't for me. Even with 99's everywhere it was way too sluggish for my liking. EA changed the game to nerf defense and make it much easier on offense. And now at the start of M24 that is really showing as everyone is having trouble on D.

I know the game on old gen is basically a rinse and repeat every year (from a gameplay perspective)... but I like the way it plays... so I think I will stay on it until that version is no longer available.
