defense broken now?

am i the only one who think defnse is just useless rn? Zone is useless against corner routes, curl flats and flats in general dont work, match doesnt work, shading outside or outside/overtop doesnt work, mable maybe but then ur sacrificing the middle of the field and backing the flats up doesnt work either. Man is definitely better but then you're guaranteed to get beat by slants, drags , zigs and any one with up to par receivers can get u on hard in or out routes. I run dime mainly and i have pretty good corners and i switch from man to zone thru the game and find succes but most the the time its a battle of offense. Im not bouta youtube search "best broken madden defenses" ive played different ways every year and make adjustments where it needed but this year feels useless on D. I've played mut for years never made post just tryna on know if im wrong in this rn

I'd say it's pretty much universally agreed that defense is bad this year. it's very difficult to consistently stop an opponent who knows what they're doing.

I feel like best strat is to equip good KOs for your scheme on defense and hope you win the turnover battle

Agreed . I've had a lot of opponents throw directly into hard flats that are taken for 6 or breakups  every single time in past games. I also notice safeties play super deep in this madden compared to the older games. I will say I'm new to "next gen" madden this year. so maybe this is how next gen played last year too. All in all, zone assignments seem smaller and I'll be looking to run a lot more man2man or at least man up individual players more often.

Like you said, cards are getting better. And defense is too broken for the better defensive cards to compensate.

Defense been broken all year. Just gotta learn to adjust to how your opponent plays and mix up different coverages.

I don't think that Defense is any worse than i usually is

When the Competitor plays a straight up honest game of Football

Defense works as good as Offense does and you can have very

fun and competitive games.

The problem lies with all the Adult Children playing the game like

their future life and Eternal Soul depends on them winning at all costs.

So they pull out every MCS Pro (LOL) Exploit, every EA Sponsored

Streamer Glitch play and every EA piss poor programming glitch they can find to win.

When you run across one of these types it makes he Defense look terrible

even tho everything you try should work as designed.

EA doesn't need to fix the Defense, they needs to fix the whole damn game

1) When they become aware of these type of players they need to short term

ban them until they learn to PLAY FAIR. It's right in EA Maddens New Main Slogan

FAIR PLAY

2) They need to BAN all these plays in the MCS Tournaments

3) They need to crack down on the Streamers that Announce and Promote this type play.

And while we're n it, How can they get away with Banning people for

Buying Coins when their EA SPONSORED Youtube Streamers Advertise them for sale ?

4) If they don't want to ban half their users for this type play or they are

just too lazy and incompetent to fix the program, then just take out all

the play that glitch and exploit the game and everything is solved.

But why should they do anything ?

They've gotten away with a piss poor game this long and people still

buy the game and spend hundreds and even thousands on packs ?

They don’t know what they’re doing. They’re just following a recipe obtained online.
