I'm having a hard time stopping anything since the patch on defense. I don't run any sort of META defenses/blitzes just play solid football fundamentals . I went from Legend to Veteran in the past week and have absolutely no answers. My user skills went from decent to obsolete, I get no picks even when I'm in position for the interception.
Is there something that I don't know post patch that I can be implementing into my game?

The patch decimated everyone's defense. As I replied to you on another thread, if you have the coins try out Dave Robinson as your user. Put Lurk Artist on him. It won't change the fact that defense sucks right now but if you user him and make good reads, put him in position, he will make the plays

Sweet, I'll check him out.
Nothing you can really do. EA pretty much said screw defense and this is the result of it. The game is made so that even a 4 year old can come in and score 45 points.

It's pretty sickening actually. Every possession is a TD these days.
I just run coach suggestions and user well. Maybe just run coach suggestions?
I hate this, but ive gotten to the point where every other play is cover zero and rushing 6 and hoping for the best.

I've been having to grind out full games and they're all really high scoring.

I literally tried everything possible. Man coverage, zone, match, every possible defense and i can't stop shit. The only thing left is to just became an amazing user which also gets beat since you can't user every single time. Very deflating. The skill gap doesn't exist anymore
