It wasn't just OOP Henry's ability as a runner, but the fact that he had slinger 1, solid passing stats, and could have escape artist and gunslinger (prior to the AP update) that made him dominant. Although CH Tebow is an 87 and it's being compared to a 96/97 Henry, his abilities and release aren't even close to what Henry had.

Exactly. Even Elway is still better than Rodgers because of abilities and run capability (to my surprise).

While the abilities thing may be true, it isn’t fair to compare stats. Henry was a stud in a game with high ovr’s all over the field. Tebow has been trucking defenders of all sizes for me for like 2 months now.. 89 ovr or whatever he is, has been keeping up

I know you can't compare the stats. That's why I said "Although CH Tebow is an 87 and it's being compared to a 96/97 Henry, his abilities and release aren't even close to what Henry had.". While Tebow was a top end runner when he was released and is still serviceable now, he was never a great passer due to his release. Henry having slinger 1 and being a better passer is what creates a massive difference between the 2 imo. Also, Henry was also used by many people for several months after ZC, even after cards like GG Joe Namath came out 2 months later. I tried other starting QBs last year after ZC Henry, but I always went back to him until his GT came out in June.

I almost never see Tebow in H2h or MUT Champs. he's really ineffective, as running QBs have been nerfed this year. Forgetting the OVR you can't even compare the impact QB Henry had on the game. He was by far the most dominant player in the game. He was the Meta. He was virtually unstoppable - EA patched the game because of him. The last time I played a Tebow the guy tried to run option plays with him. He fumbled 3 times in the first half; I only remember that B Dawk caused at least one of those fumbles.

He tried to throw after that but Tebow's throwing stats really are not so hot. He hits no threshholds and throw power is not very good. His release kinda sucks too.

I mean, honestly he's not even in the same universe as Qb Henry was

They couldn't. because Escape Artist is not  OP this year. It's not even close to OP.  And I doubt they would give him slinger 1 with high throw power...they learned their lesson with that OP Henry card

I have no idea where those stats are from? Xbox next gen doesn't look like that , and usually it tells you if it is H2h or vs CPU. Against the CPU any card can have big stats...Plus he only has 19.94 rushing yards per game? If I do the math thats about 338 games  (rushing yards  6,740/rushing yds per game = 338.01) which means he had 83 yards passing per game. So 83 Yards passing and 19.94 yards rushing per game. Not exactly Derrick Henry-esque.
