Played someone that had all the top cards including Dickerson and won 13-0. They quit after Dickerson was hit by 87 Atwater and fumbled that Gilmore took back 94 yards for a td. Really didn't think I was going to win cause his top three were at lowest 92's. That's 4 times that I can remember this season of facing a much better team and each time they just aren't that good of players. Either they are bad at usering or making bad passes or plays. I honestly watch out for lower rated teams cause they are sometimes much better players. Im not that good at madden and am maybe slightly above average. Dickerson looks amazing even though I just watched him fumble but my opponent did no huddle three straight runs when he fumbled 😆. I can see a bigger disconnect this year between God squad teams and their skill on the field.
And therein lies the old Madden adage. Having the top players isn't worth the shizzle if you don't know what to do with them.

I disagree. I feel there’s a handicap for lesser teams honestly

I think theres a good mix of both.
If you suck and have the top cards it kind of makes up for it since your players will help you out a bit. But if you have bad cards and know how to exploit the game, youll be override how bad they are. Yeah, theyll hit some bumps but you can negate that with plays. Thats like last year or the year before, the dude had a punter at QB and just ran the ball the entire time and won the tourney since he knew how to play D and cheese the run.
