Did EA make some kind of change that affects QBs, or did they add some type of special defensive ability that would affect a QB?
I have a fully upgraded Vick at 93 OVR and he was fine until this weekend.
All of a sudden, he is missing receivers by MILES and throwing a bunch of bad balls. I mean he is throwing 20 yards off target.
Any idea what is causing this?
I’ve seen that on my Jordan Loce as well.

The change in play is very obvious. It happens when I am playing against a team that is higher OVR than my team. It is like EA is cheating to help that team win.

Idk vicks CA card plays like sht as well. I love vick in previous maddens but somethings off this year.

I've haven't seen any testing to confirm it but various players not being as good as the used to be has come up every now and then on the forums especially with qbs.
It wouldn't surprise if EA does some ghost nerfing of old cards in an attempt to get you to buy new ones. But I'm also not sure how much of it can be attributed to top cards generally being better than what came out weeks ago.

Yep, they definitely nerfed some QBs... I had no issues with Carr, up until this past weekend... was missing all kinds of throws.. Had to sell and move to Doug Williams..
The Jerry Rice fiasco from last year proved to all of us that they do nerf cards after a while.. I am sure most remember that deal...

The new issues are not based on an opponent's skill. It is something new and something different.
The new issues of bad passes being 20 yards off target, or Dalton Kincaid roasting CBs with 94 or 95 Speed and 93 to 95 MCV, or HBs breaking through multiple tackles per play, or opponent receivers somehow catching a ball through a defender with better positioning and who should make an interception or deflect the ball or have the ball deflected off their body are not someone being a better player. If an opponent would be user-ing a LB and covering someone close and making an interception, that would be "better than me" on a given play, but that is not what is happening now.
