Do Qb releases matter that much

Right now I have Vick, and I might get Passtronaut or Allen, I've heard bad things about Dobbs's release but does it matter that much, I mean is it just  a small difference or is it really that big of a thing, because most are pros saying bad things, but are they're some releases that are just not usable

You can make most releases work if you have Gunslinger equipped but you definitely feel the difference between the best releases and the worst. The best ones get the ball out quick so you can avoid sacks or pressure.
