Do u think madden artificially influences demand??

A card comes out like a GT and less than 4 days later it goes from 1.5 million to under 200k.  
 

if you’re pulling a 1.5 million Cam Newton within 4 days of release, why would you try and sell for 25% of value so fast.  GT are not that easy to Pull either.

Why would they want to deflate the the cost? They make $$$ by people buying packs when they don’t have enough coins to get the cards they want. What would EA gain by lowering the market?

EA is not lowering the prices of cards.

They aren’t, that would only make them lose money. People buy more packs when the cost of the card is higher, because the reward of pulling the good card is higher.

This made me wonder if boosted odds is fake. When Golden Tickets first came out, a lot more people are trying to pull them, resulting in more Golden Tickets being pulled. EA has never actually given us proof that boosted odds are real, and it could all be a ploy to get us to spend more money on the game.

They already control the market indirectly through setting and tweaking pack odds, which influences the supply. Part of the price drop is that everyone wants the shiny new cards when they come out. This drives the prices of older cards down as the supply floods the market and people undercut one another to get theirs to sell faster. GTs also don't leave packs like LTDs, so if someone pulls a GT they already have, they aren't going to hold onto both of them and will sell or quicksell the duplicates.

While EA won't allow me to pull anything worthwhile like a GT from packs, based on watching streamers pull packs it almost seems like the odds of a given GT release ramp up over time. I've seen lots of GTs from prior weeks being pulled during the "boosted" odds but very few newly-released GTs.

Yes, EA is publishing that and is lying to their customer base.  Come on man. Do you understand the ramifications of claiming boosting odds and not actually bosting them?  EA is a company.  They're not going to open themselves up to something like that.  Put the tinfoil hat away now.

They could just "forget" to turn it on lol. 

I saw people pulling crazy shit this weekend and in 1mill+ I pulled 2 GTs that I put on the trade block for people here and thats it. 3 97s and 1 98. Thats it.
