I punt much less than I should. I don’t usually look back with regret like I do when I don’t take FGs. Games are short and letting go of a possession is hard and most of the time, if I’m in a situation where I should punt but don’t, I’m probably going to lose either way. Don’t know if any of that made sense.

That totally makes sense. A lot of games come down to who can force more turnovers. A punt is a turnover. A fourth down attempt at least has the upside of first down even in the most unlikely scenarios.

I punt when it makes sense... as others have stated above.

I personally love it when my opponent goes for 4th and 15+ on their half of the field. I will almost always send a ton of pressure in those situations and they'd better have a quick read or they're getting sacked... or throwing a pick or incompletion.

sometimes. myrule is fourth and 6 take the risk. i had the sudden urge to have the best punter in the game the other day tho so i bought hecker. he gets inside deadeye. has 5 td passes already. insane the amount of ppl who dont go safe man.

Situationally, if I've been playing good defense and it's 4th and 15+ in my own territory then ya. Otherwise, defense is also so bad this year i feel like i've got 5-6 go to plays that will usually get me a first down and I'm only in a 4th and long in the first place because of a random shed.

Oh absolutely, if the situation calls for it. I use the same mindset when it comes to 2 point conversions as well. I prefer playing as realistically as mut will allow.

if I’m on my side of the field yes. I’ll kick a FG if im not on at least the 3.
