Do you need Midzone KO with Universal Coverage?

i see universal coverage gets all knockouts in Man and Zone

But I think people were saying you also need midzone KO, not for the KOs, but the reaction boost?

UC also gets the reaction boosts so no need for Mid Zone KO or any other KO ability.
