It’s not about condescending. Think about it, you can’t change what’s going on, obviously. So if you want to continue to play, you have to adapt, and the only way to adapt is to start running the same same shit they run. I’m not trying to be rude to the dude I’m just saying that’s how it is, that’s the freaking reality.  It’s a sucky one however, madden 25 will be out in less than two weeks so things may change then.

Here’s an example I never used William Perry but I kept on having to face him dude was running all over me. I could’ve quit, I  could’ve took my ball and went home but I still have some spare time and I want to play the game so in order to continue to be competitive, I got William Perry. That’s all I’m saying don’t read too deep into it. I really wasn’t trying to condescend.

Bum ass man coverage is what got to me. Just insane with the knockouts and stupid interceptions when my guy is five feet away from the trailing defender.  Game's dead. Last time I played I was just laughing at the stupidity...

I hate that they milk this RP token thing for so long, otherwise I would absolutley not be playing.

For what it's worth, I didn't think you were being condescending.   It's the reality of end of cycle madden that those who remain are playing a very specific way which most are going to consider toxic so you either get on board or call it a year so you save your sanity.

game is hot trash and ppl that defend this bs are def the problem.....game isn't about skill or IQ anymore. all about exploits and glitches

I'm dumb enough that i legit thought i was signing up for a modern simulation fatball experience.  Oof, nothing could have been further from the truth.  Although it's hard to fault the community members, I sort of get it... we all (at least many/most of us) want this game to be decent, however, i'm not sure that's possible as long as EA continues to hold an exclusive license for the league.  We without a doubt deserve better.

That being said, you bring up a fantastic point -- it's so bizarre to me that folks who consider themselves "fans" of any modern product won't EVER look at things with a critical eye.  We've bred generations of sheep, who somehow confuse critical thinking and assume it's a negative.  Wanting or expecting the best from something and having a few basic morals and standards never hurts.  I'm just not sure EA cares, they continue to laugh all the way to the bank and grift not only us, the community, but also their advertisers and sponsors.  Juicing their stream numbers, forcing us to "engage" with their July MUT content so we are stuck until we can finish those three RP sets, aargh.

Trying to talk myself out of pre-ordering M25.  Not sure my sanity can withstand another cycle and i struggle to just enjoy the game casually when it comes to MUT.  Good luck to everyone gearing up for NCAA.

The game this year was not geared around "playing"...EA made it about "engagement"...so in order to advance up the focus has been more on statistics and not wins.  Folks (myself included) tend to be looking for...return yards, interceptions, first downs...whatever.  If you pull a win a long the way great, but if not...no big.  Look at what you get for winning a Super Bowl...not even close to worth the grind.  There is something to be said for playing for fun...but...very few out there are doing it...so...we find ourselves where we are.
