Why can’t they just make a separate page for news and updates so the forums can be used for actual discussion instead instead of news competitions.
i remember before there were forums, I would request that we got forums. At that time I was told that forums actually cause unnecessary conflict. Had no idea this is what they meant.

I made the mistake of replying to a lengthy (i believe Xmas present / leak thread) main thread post, which added another page to an exceedingly long thread. That was entirely on me, user error. But yeah, categories and search feature leave a bit to be desired, but i'm beyond THRILLED to have this resource, instead of merely a Discord group or someshit. I absolutely despise when good information gets locked behind private Discord group chats. However, i'm just a dumb quasi-Boomer, i know the kids are really into Discord these days... but i miss the more traditional style message boards, warts and all.

I mean, there is a WHOLE area for news, it's the front page lol! But in the front page no one really discusses much they way we do here.
BUT, man I get what your getting at and honestly that gave me a great idea and a way this can all be fixed! These forums have separate sections, although not very many, so Legend should separate Mut Discussion into 2 separate forums!
Have a forum section SPECIFICALLY for new content and news, that way Slammer can come back ha ha, still be able to guess content or the "what do you want to see" threads, and then all other topics can stay here in Mut Discussion. This would clean up this Mut Discussion forum BIG time and might make the threads pop a little more! Maybe even steal a GREAT line and call the new forum section "New News" ROFL!!!!

If that's when you first noticed it, how do you know a cap existed before? We didn't have a cap on titles until about a month ago because it was never really an issue in the early days. The first cap was 130 but that was still too long so it got dropped down to 100 characters last week.

Cause at some point I couldn't add any more characters to the thread title. Not a message after trying to update the thread, just couldn't add anymore to it.
I meant when I first noticed the 100 character limit cap.

I wouldn’t even know the difference personally since I am told that if I do not have anything nice to say, to not say anything at all. rendering me unable to comment on certain people’s posts. So knowingly I do not look at them.
but yes. Keep the news for the people who want the news. And let everybody else talk like normal people. Sounds like a good idea

not just the threads, the quality is overall bad but that's how forums are now... and I don't consider engaging threads asking people about where they are at in the game bad... just low level low minded type stuff 90%...
