I have noticed and have seen on some streams, that it doesn;t always light up even on short in routes....maybe it is because it's not against man coverage....and especially with taysom it didn't work.... do you guys notice the same thing?
i feel like the past three days it hasnt been liighting up as much. it might just be me tho
its still lighting up alot just not as much
Personally I don't see much of a light up unless its a slot wr or a TE I had it on cooks but it never really worked, I think it's worth it to try again and if he's still not lighting up change it up. I play both Current and Next Gen and the light up is more likely in Next Gen. I think the ability only works on routes broke inside the numbers between the LOS and 5 yards but like you said its very inconsistent.
worked on this exact thing in practice mode couple of days ago with hill. You get lights anytime he cuts (against man) or catches (against man or zone) the ball between the numbers and the hash on either side of the field but not between the two hashes

Yep. And its supposed to be anywhere betweem the numbers right?

Yeah that's why I believe the slot and the TE is where this ability should be played, Mays calls it steroid elite when it lights up on Taysom😂. Defiantly worth it just minor inconsistency here and there.
Lol I have this ability on 4 of my five eligible receivers only Calvin Johnson doesn't have it. It's better than route tech even without a discount.
sometimes to is glitchy but it works most of the time

yeah a little glitch
it only lights up vs man, and sometimes vs man you get into a db aggressive interaction where it forces your cut to happen outside of the 10 yards from the los. you also have to be inside the numbers so that’s why you guys are saying “it only works on my te and slot wrs”
In my personal experience, it basically lights up on just ab any route as long as it's not the outside recievers.

They may have silently nerfed it. But the truth for me is that I haven't been using my SIE guy too much. TE crosser w/ HB texas, Calvin deep, and Kenneth Walker is the majority of my O
Only lights up on cuts against man. it doesn’t light up on most routes with more than one cut. The post corner for sure doesn’t light up even though it breaks at 10.

I wouldn’t say better than route tech as an ability. But for 1ap is it better value than 3AP? Depends on your scheme but for most running three SIE is better. I run short in on all my recievers and one route tech. I put the route tech receiver in my slot because i have routes in my scheme where SIE doesn’t light up consistently, but with route tech it does. i find any deeper (10+ yard) routes like corners or posts do not light up consistently with SIE. I also have a receiver with short out just in case, I run an offensive scheme where all my receivers are inside the numbers the majority of the time (bunch X nasty).
