I play 3 games - Madden, Diablo 4, WWE 2k24.
Diablo, I find very entertaining, building characters, etc. and it’s basically free. Been contemplating getting the expansion for $30 today. Seems like some great content for the investment.
WWE - just for fun, also basically free, as Inplay for fun and when new free content comes out, I’ll engage for a change of pace.
Madden - the only game of the 3 that attempts to get me to spend money daily/weekly just to keep pace despite the gameplay being poor and the game is just filled with hundreds of bugs that the others don’t have. Very unpolished - game breaking glitches whenever they release content.
Decided today that the last $$ I will spend is the $30 for the Diablo expansion. I’ll still play Madden for any free content, which Intealize is minimal, but I think that it’s crazy the amount of pressure they put on people by scaling back every avenue to enjoy the game without spending money. They will never get another dime out of me other than the initial cost of the game.
Everyone needs to take a hard look at their investments of time and money and think is it worth it, is the gameplay/experience worth my time and money? Do the game designers/companies value my opinions/desires for the game, or am
I just a number on an earnings report? EA drops the ball on all of these checks, probably for everyone.
