Double me glitch?!

I was chilling playing some h2h but i noticed i got picked off on a lob pass in single coverage when my wr had double me activated it was just him and the db what happened

I can’t say this with 100% confidence but I’m almost pretty sure that the abilities don’t work every time you think they’re supposed to I mean I do notice that happening so that’s probably what happened. Example I had that anti-hit stick ability on my running back but you know how sometimes the game will do a weird animation if the person hit sticks too early but they’re momentum still like flattens your guy but it’s not a real hit stick tackle, that shit happens.

Double me doesn’t really work for mossing people unless you are between them and the ball. If the defender can get between you and the ball, it will probably be a pick.
