EA, I’m a grown man. Please make a game I’m not embarrassed to tell people I play.

What’s with the anime and “colossal“ archetypes and other BS? The desperation to drive new revenue is going to drive people away when people can look over your shoulder and see a child’s game on the screen. How far we’ve fallen…

Nah fr it's a million times worse and more cringe than say 5-10 years ago. They're trying to attract the 10-12 year old player base who will spend money from their parents credit cards And run stretch and rpos every play of the game. Lmao.

I don't mind that they're trying different stuff. It's not going to land with everyone, of course, but recycling the same old shit isn't great either. The card art is pretty nice too...

Now if they could fix the numerous issues with gameplay... that bothers me way more than the arcade stuff they're doing.

ya I can agree with this 100% the gameplay is in a terrible place and deserves more negative attention than some small promo

They need a new engine for the game, frostbite is showing its age alot lately

Most grown men don’t play child’s games. Madden is becoming a child’s game with magical players and abilities/charms. There is room in the market for a football simulation and this is not that.

Yeah i think it also further proves what we already knew,  the people making this game dont play it/arent real football people at heart. Theyre the young kids in skinny jeans with highlights in their hair etc in line at starbucks every morning and these are the things they play/watch etc.

EA should hire football people and football fans to make football games. Simple as that.

NCAA is coming back! Hopefully it’ll be like NCAA 14.

As a fellow grown man I wish they would add cheerleaders !

I would complain less about this type nonsense if many of the basic gameplay features weren't in such a sad state of affairs.  Squash bugs before you layer on additional complexity... but it's all a bullshit cash grab, EA is laughing all the way to the bank.  We're made to suffer, it's our lot in life.

And yeah, if i didn't already feel liek a basic white bitch spending so much time with my MUT squad... this is getting to the point of being embarrassing.  How this is even remotely considered "simulation" fatball will forever remain a mystery to me.  Maybe ~10 years ago it was intended to be simulation, but it doesn't seem liek EA is even pretending to try anymore.  I dunno, i just throw my hands up.  Anime is definitely not my thing.  Next week are we going to get Superman and Batman?

Unfortunately, you hit the nail on the head here.  The game needs to be entirely reworked from the ground up, which isn't really feasible in a single calendar year, given how little resources EA is willing to invest into development.  Until something liek this happens, we'll continue to get the same tired, recycled nonsense year in and year out.  No clue if i'll live long enough to see that materialize.

They know they’re leap years behind withholding upgrades and features like Apple to maintain a yearly profitable business for a lifetime . If they made the game as good as they could, you wouldn’t need to buy a new one for five years.🤷🏻‍♂️ 

 Friend of mine still has NCAA 2014 tournaments every year 😂
