Should they remove those player sets simply bc I have the knowledge to know that I can buy 5 89s at 43-50k and put them in a set that makes a player that sells for 320k?

you can get a 70+ in the store every day for 500 coins, 3 70s get a team playbook, 6 70s get an alternate one.... ok...

From what I can see you can still build but not sell. It’s obviously a response to sellers using certain head coach base set cards

EA's answer would be that you should not be able to make profits doing sets.  You should at best breakeven but they'd prefer sets be a coin sink so that you actually lose value.

I have made many, many millions of coins off the playbook sets.  RIP.

But they don't have the time, or skill to fix my 3-4+ weeks of no working H2H Seasons gameplay.  A basic friggin feature of the damn game.  Perhaps THE primary function of my MUT squad would be to play somewhat "competitive" H2H stuff (i'm not delusional enough to think i'm ever going to be a Comp player, so i use the term loosely)... yet we're all missing out and i'm sure they'll give us liek an 84 OVR make-right for missing out on months of gameplay action.

Free peppers was part of the madvent thing. Basically, peppers won the poll to decide which of 3 84s would be given out for free

Just ran into the same thing selling uniforms. I was able to re-list a couple I had that hadn't sold, but when I went to make more I ran into the same issue. So let's have one more round of FUCK YOU EA!!!!

This year alone, or throughout your entire Madden career? Trying to do quick math on this, 20k per * 50 playbooks = 1M gross profit?

Impressive if you've built hundreds and hundreds of playbook sets in the past few months. 🤑  Must take some serious dedication. I did 4 or 5 in a row trying to acquire Multiple Defense, before ultimately giving up and probably ended up paying YOU ~17k 9n AH, hehe.

I got two 4-3 Defense in a row and could barely sell them for 2k coins each, basically had to give em away. Alternate Defense set method didn't seem particularly lucrative across my small sample size. Or perhaps I'm just bad. Both can be true. =)

bud, we just talked about marking up the prices on low golds.

There is a new safeguard put in place every time someone discovers a new coin method.

they've got an auction ban before for buying FBs low and marking up the price and selling them for close to max value. Which caused an auto-detect ban. Which EA apparently overturned but now it is happening again because they've decided to do it with kickers and punters instead of fullbacks. This isn't like a random jab at a stranger, peatrick and I have been talking since early in madden 23.

Bruh... it's been my golden goose all year!

All my gold players go into making those Base Playbook Fantasy Packs.  I make 100 at a time... when I run out of golds I just buy up any that are selling for under 1k on the Auction House.   So for a max investment of 3k each... I sell them for 25k each (old gen pricing).  It's the best return on investment in the game BY FAR.

Part of my daily MUT chores includes putting up 20 team playbooks for 25k each on the auction house and I've done this since the game dropped in August.  Without fail, I sell between 5 - 10 playbooks every single day.  That's 100-200k of passive income per day.... 700-1400k per week... without fail and without a lot of effort.   People are lazy and don't like making the sets... or they just don't know about the sets.  

On current gen there are way more players... so my guess is there are too many people doing this for it to be profitable.  But on old gen the team playbooks sell really well at that price.  I'm shocked because... like who's buying all these playbooks?  

But now my golden goose is dead.

was using this method past couple days. Made a solid 100k from js messing around with it. This year of MUT is honestly just tragic ngl. Might be my last year boy's 🫡🤧.

Cuz you can build a playbook for like 2k and sell for 5k+
