I am a 62 year old madden gamer. I've been playing madden since the first edition. This is my first year playing ultimate team. I was playing on two accounts. I created a second account so my grandchildren could play but not on my account. I started playing on my second because of the mistakes I made on the first account. However it was taking too much time to grind two accounts so I sold my best players on one account then on the account I wanted to keep playing on it put cards on auction and bought them with the account with the coins to transfer them to my account. I was simply buying my own cards. I wanted to wait until this weekend to purchase the cards that I wanted on auction but today the coins were taken. E A took the coins from one account but put the ban on the other? These cards and coins were hard earned from grinding almost all day for months now they're gone. Any help would be great
You can't do any kind of coin transfer or anything like that. It's against the rules.
I don't understand that. I simply posted cards from one account at a higher value then used the account that I wasn't going to play on to by them. I did this to buy cards like everyone is doing. This happens all day. How is this different from anyone else buying my cards. I didn't buy outside coins. People post cards on auction then buy them from others. This doesn't make sense. EA actually took 10% of each coin trade???
The coins that were wiped were earned from playing this game 24/7 wwith allot of frustration. I don't even play h2h i just play solo seasons solo battles. Ive been playing this game for years. I've seen allot of really bad glitches and have never had a ban or discipline. This is just crushing the desire to play football in a video game out of my soul. Ive begged god to put easports out of business remove the monopoly and let a good company make a good football game. Madden is horrible
Yeah you can't do that. EA can't know it's your own account. They should inform you of the grounds of the ban or coins being taken though. You could try to contact EA Help, but not sure it will help.
I will say though. At the time you are writing there is server maintainance, so maybe just an issue with that?
1. Don’t distribute or sell Coins
Coin selling and distribution inflates the Madden economy. That means disrupting the safe buying and selling environment that legitimate players are trying to use to get the players they need for their Madden Ultimate Team.
Selling Coins can get your account banned.
Having multiple accounts and funneling Coins and Items to your main account also breaks our rules.
This is considered coin farming on alt accounts and is listed as a reason for getting banned in EA's TOS. They have a bot that monitors auction house activity, and if a card sells for a lot higher than the average price it's currently going for, it flags that transaction as possible coin distribution. Doesn't matter if it's from your own account to your own (other) account - it's still coin farming, and gets you popped by the ban bot.
You should file a ticket with ea help. It could take several days, but you at least have a shot at getting unbanned. I was banned a couple times over the years for unknown reasons (never did any coin transfers - just made a lot on the auction house and went on a couple long losing streaks - nothing intentional or rule-breaking). So, I was unbanned each time after filing a request. I may work, it may not, but it's worth a shot.

I am very sorry to hear of your situation. I agree with will8342 that you should submit a support ticket to EA Help. I would suggest explaining that you didn't understand that what you did was a violation of Terms of Service. Since it's a first-time offense, they might reinstate your account, but they may keep the coins. Good luck!
God's blessings on you for your kindness response. Ive been sick and bedridden for over a year so playing madden during this time had taken my mind off the pain though just playing the game is so frustrating that it's a real difficult game to enjoy. I wish another company could produce nfl content. Thank you again
If they keep the coins they might as well keep their game. The coins were removed from one account but a ban was put on the other account. Aactually there is no ban as I can play auction and access content on both accounts just the coins are missing. If they keep the coins ive decided not to play the game again. I only play it because I've been a Lions fan since 1968 and this is the first year the lions have a good team on madden. Ive played allot of madden over the years but this was my first ultimate team. I'm just devastated by this experience. I guess I should have known better. Thank you again

Sorry to hear about your situation. In the old MUT days, everyone had farm accounts and they used to send coins to their main accounts from the farms but EA has cracked down on it over the years. Probably to make it harder for people to farm coins and force them to buy packs
Appreciate your response 👍 thank you
I'll not be repeating the mistake. I actually bought points and packs with money and that was represented in the seized coins. Allot of time, effort and money just evaporated. Iit's really not fun after all. Thank you all for your comments 🙏
You could try a certified letter to their legal department since we're bound by arbitration you can't legally sue them but they're obligated to arbitrate this with you per the TOS. But given the explanation for what happened even though you should have every right to buy your own cards using another account they're going to say you broke their TOS defined under "account farming" and likely give you the finger and not care either way. This is why I get so pissed off that people get on here and defend EA on various things. If you were a popular streamer promoting coin sell sites on YT they'd give you a pass as they ban the people who took their advice and bought coins from sites they promoted. The whole situation is backwards but they're making too much money to care.
