So what players should be be stocking up on in preparation for diamonds? Core set cards that are 80 and above in the conference/division of the diamond champion we want?

It's obvious this is a throwaway promo. Really none of the cards are comp.
I think they just want to eat up binder value. That's why there are so many recycled players, and none but the champs are useful.

Steelers have the most to complain about. Lev Bell is awful and that's the only card in this promo getting Steelers team chem. Plus they just gave us a TOTW halfback who's better (Warren) with Angry Runs but he's not nearly as good as Angry Runs Patterson.
All of this on top of giving TJ Watt an 87 Snickers card...
EA Hates the Steelers.

I think its pretty even with kc with the complaints in this promo. Ours is a rg that already has a 90. The only other card with chiefs Chem in this is... Lev Bell

feels like they didnt obtain the rights to use a lot of former players
A smaller pool means more recycled cards in the future. I doubt theyre saving more than a handful of big names for ZC/ghosts etc.

Colts got a DT, QB, and a very mid looking Reggie Wayne card. I was hyped for him until I saw his stats. I get he's wasn't the fastest, but 91? When Jimmy Graham gets 92?

yep! I keep checking back to see if/when cards are going to get better. EA keeps air ballin wide open shots, though.
It’s almost like they’ve farmed out the dev team that handles promos to India. Wouldn’t be surprised if the team building these promos doesn‘t know anything about the NFL.
It’s some form of that, or they are trolling hard.
Either way they’re losing hundreds of millions if it keeps up.
