Game sharing Error message ( Help needed)

Good day, everyone  

I made a topic for a few days ago, questioning if the cross play feature was turned off, but since then I’ve noticed a lot more of  issues happening to me.   

The latest is I cannot seem to play any of my friends in a simple friend match. I get  an error message saying , UNABLE TO JOIN THE SESSION BECAUSE ALL PLAYERS WERE NOT ON  THE LATEST GAME VERSION. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL PLAYERS HAVE DOWNLOADED ANY UPDATES AND TRY AGAIN 

I have no idea what this means, there’s clearly something wrong with my game. I don’t know if it’s my console or if this is a glitch through EA‘s Side but all the games I get are Xbox only and I can’t even play anybody in squads or just a friendly 1v1 match with any of my friends on Xbox . I tryed uninstalling then installing to get the latest updates but still nothing, we have decided to just get off this game because there is no point wasting time or money to play the game. So if anyone can help out and shed some light on this issue much appreciated thanks.

So it’s just not me there is others so now what’s the fix ? it appears this is being triggered by game sharing.

first off thank you for responding, the fact that this has been going on from August and not a word from EA on this matter is confusing . It seems that there is so many areas in this game that are broken. I can’t understand how a live service performs so poorly on a yearly basis. I’m wondering if the NFL is aware of these issues that players are dealing with on a yearly basis?     

Now the question is how to fix my problem  and how long will this go on for? As for now I’m just going to move on  to a different game same for my friends , being that we can’t play it’s not worth investing our time nor money

I will try to update this in case people are experiencing the same issue. It appears there was somebody at some time a few weeks back from EA named Kent that was aware of this issue, but I don’t see if he has come back with any information currently. He is the 8 th response if anyone is interested in reading

Here is the fix.

At the main menu, log on the account you are game sharing with. It will download a roster. Just log back on your primary account once it downloads and you should be able to connect. Unfortunately you will have to do this everytime you log on.

thanks for responding but unfortunately, this is not a fix  due to the fact that you have to do this every time you logon  not to mention that when we do try that method you are saying you might have to repeat those steps  3 to 5 times and still it’s not a guarantee, so again it’s not a fix. it’s more like a band -aid . But thanks
