Thanks so much, Legend i speak for many and this means the world for sure. Most of us love and have loved this game for years and myself i don't really want to stop playing it man but something has to be done. This has gone way too far this year and we are only a month in, folks are at the end and EA is on a super short Leash here. So it's time we need to be heard before it worsens.

like a previous poster said I used to have 7-10 I would done with the pass I don’t think I will come close to finishing this time honestly and I’ve been playing since the beginning

To the original poster's point, even with completion of the Comp Pass to the point to which all the Season XP is attainable, you can't get to the 1.50M in Season XP required to complete it. On my math, if you complete each daily (I have, sadly), and complete each program Field Pass (I have, sadly), and complete the Competitive Pass, you'll still end up around 1.43M in Season XP. Now it's possible there's a final program after GG release 2 where more Season XP is made available, but it's not apparent now. And even if it is, it suggests what's pretty commonly been the EA MUT story the last 3-4 years: that they make it up as they go along. Not a convincing way to maintain and expand a player base.

With that logic, what's the point of any kind of competitive game? You play other people to compete, put your team against theirs and see who wins. h2h is annoying at times but if it's giving you high blood pressure or anxiety and stuff like that, you probably shouldn't be playing because it's not that serious

Yup, Slam. I understand the rant. When a cool and optimistic bud like you says those strong words, it’s time to rethink things because something might be wrong. And that’s the case this year. The game became clearly pay-to-win, unless you spend an absurd amount of time playing it. Therefore this year I’ve decided to be 100% NMS and 100% casual player. Didn’t even buy the game, I got a free code... and don’t play competitive mode anymore. I don’t want to spend neither my money nor my precious time with this broken game. Unless EA rethinks the game as a whole, I won’t come back next year.

Agree 100%. Madden 16 was my first year playing MUT, bought it when I bought PS4 pro at Christmas. I believe there were 5 journeys and gauntlets that year along with the promo solos. They were fun to play and the rewards were really good, was enough to keep you busy without ever playing online, though I chose too and wasn't forced to to complete anything. I thought every year was gonna be like that, but it kept shifting to having to play more online for better rewards, and after awhile even the "rewards" we're not worth it. I am a below average player at best, up until this year I played online more A to complete objectives and B for fun, even if I lost still got something. Now if you lose you get nothing at all, don't see where the fun is in that playing a sweat for 5 min quarters and get nothing at the end. Full games take awhile and don't wanna waste my time for lierally nothing . Legend mentioned he sent it to EA, with alot of you guys being leaders of the community I hope something changes. Thank you

This is the most realistic Madden released ever. No more broken abilities and animations that defy physics (FOR THE MOST PART). I’m enjoying being able to throw the ball and not having to worry about a defender knock the ball out after I’ve already taken 4 steps because they had a KO ability

There's two distinct and very different versions of this game for me. Solo Battles (offline) against the CPU are relaxing, mindless, enjoyable... although i wish they were slightly more challenging at times, but hey AI is still not on par with even my mediocre abilities. Playing the Goon squad in recent Gridiron Guardians promo has actually been quite fun, I've had to replay a handful 2 or 3 times. Having to pay for the "privilege" to unlock these Challenges, is such a huge crock of shit. WE ALREADY GAVE YOU (Electronic Arts) $70-100 at least. All that being said, H2H requires low latency (preferably with my controller actually hardwired via USB to the PS5 console), no distractions and/or interruptions and intense focus. My senses become immediately heightened and my heart starts racing the moment I jump into any H2H game.
I'm not trying to pretend i'm Michael Jordan or anything, but that competitive fire is not something that is easily switched off, at least for me. I grasp that ultimately none of this truly matters and the rewards are meaningless crap, "pack trash" would be far too generous, but the mere thought of losing is beyond enraging. Mad respect to each and every one of you who are able to enjoy a leisurely H2H game of MUT. Perhaps someday I'll get there.
