EA desperately needs some form of quality control oversight cause the last two years of mut launch has been a mess. I remember last year when people were getting what seemed like an unlimited amount of packs and getting like 20-50 George Kittles and hitting level 50 in a day or two. This year has been surprisingly worse as it has affected just about everyone. Gameplay wise I haven't had one issue but it's the field passes and stuff not counting or no rewards that is ruining mut. As long as people get their rewards and their progress counts then we will forget about this whole ordeal in a week or two but EA seems to mess up alot. Its always something from LTD's not being in packs to banning people using the app or just playing the AH to some new glitch that im sure will be found evemtually. Until there is competition then this is what we have to deal with unfortunately.
Something something indie company...
Something something hurricane....
They got the big money from launch, people buy still buy bundles .
No reason they will fix anything....maybe do away with CP and go back to solo battles and weekend league like other years
What I don't get is the lack of direct engagement with the community from the development team in times like this. Forgetting "Madden" for a moment, purely from a software development perspective this is a team that is clearly either inexperienced or under-skilled and struggling with the absolute basics. Things like:
In any other industry context, these would be signs of a failing development team and would lead to an obligation for product leaders to speak directly and transparently about issues, what's being done to fix them, AND what's being done to improve quality going forward. The community should get louder on this, not quieter.
Top 3 worst game release ever next to Cyberpunk and No Man Sky. Were a day off 2 weeks official launch and the game is in shambles.
