I like the ability but don’t know if it’s worth one ap. What do you guys think?

Not worth it to me. The offense can see when Film Study activates so 99% of the time they just audible into another play.
Film Study is definitely a tricky ability to evaluate. I think it's worth is very dependent on both your ability and your opponent's ability.
For someone new to the game, I don't think it's even worth 0 ap. Mainly because a new player probably doesn't even know how to use the information film study is giving them properly.
For everyone else it's a bit complicated. But it depends entirely on your matchup. If your opponent doesn't know how to play against film study it's definitely worth 1 ap.
But there's definitely people who are too reliant on film study and their opponents know that exploit that weakness which causes it to be worth 0 ap in this matchup.
But it's probably net neutral to a slight positive in a matchup where both players know what they're doing. Mainly because it could help you win if it gets you a stop.
Interestingly, it circles back to being useless in the hypothetical of a perfect player who always knows their opponent's play calls. In this hypothetical, the perfect player would rather have any other ability.
Ultimately, if you win a greater percentage of games with it than you do without it, film study is worth 1 ap. But there's definitely people who shouldn't be running it
Definitely worth it in my opinion. Sure they can audible out of it but you still get to see the new play they audible to for a second if you have your defense play art on. Also, you'd be surprised how many players don't audible even with film study on.
It’s not worth it anymore because often you can figure out a repeat play and people change they’re strategy after noticing you have film study
Idk I never use it because nobody has it at 0 AP
It’s worth it. One of my favorite D abilities. Been a regular ability since freebie Ed Reed, now on Urlacher. Basically play it on a player that will rarely leave the field for me.
The audibles eventually pop up and the options out of the spam plays are limited. Once it lights up, my D AI seems to go next level too.
