they did improve toppers in points bundles. but it didn't do much else.
the amount of bundles/packs/cards that you can ONLY buy with points is ridic.
the general consensus seems to be that they are moving to a madden mobile enviroment. which has no AH.
probably not going to play next version. only way to make coins will be sniping/set building. and i don't snipe anymore because i don't want to get coin wiped/banned. too many ppl are getting auto ban hammered for working the AH.
not interested in spending a dime beyond original game. like all gacha games if they only cater to whales the game will eventually dry up.

And what good did Packstrike do? We still have a glitchy-filled mode, and the mode is still kind of boring/uneventful to most of the community. FixMaddenFranchise hasn't did much, the mode still can't outdo a 15+ year old version of itself, and EA doesn't give one about the little timmy's unless it's for money.
I played MM when it was still popular, and watched them killed that game year by year. and trust me, if EA wants to do something, they will do it, whether the community likes it or not. The MM community was so distraught when the Auction House was removed in the game, most of the community left because of it. And yet EA has said before publicly that the Auction House will not return in MM. They removed a crucial and fun element to their game, that their community loved, and they are deciding to keep it removed. They killed their game because of the change, and yet they still aren't budging will that change.
If EA wants to do something, they will do it no matter what. Whether the community likes it or not.

Similar plan as it did with Fifa…
remove trade block, huge part of the youtube scene with wagers. how alot of old time fifa youtubers came up (Along with faking packs). Selling cards directly was an issue.
banning youtubers who promote third party coin delivery. Guys were getting banned left and right, sometimes instantly. The coin sellers get less promotion
not at step two yet but probably start next year. Price ranges were put in place to stop huge transaction that coin sellers made.
ultimately, EA wants to keep money in house. Fair play has nothing to do with it. I don’t blame them for wanting their cash. But… saying fair play is a joke cause if that’s the cause they would’ve just not allowed cards that qs for coins to not be traded like last year, make cards traded BND (hit at trading set pieces and selling) and then visiting unfair trades next year. I’m not an employee and I figured it out in 10 minutes. Hits 3rd party and keeps players somewhat happy.

Fair Play = whatever is fair for EA, not fair the community. If EA isn’t benefiting but only the community is, than it isn’t fair.

It's like continously going up for free samples instead of respecting one per customer.
The draft promotion is a perfect example.
If someone has 50 accounts and guessed all different ways and ended up winning the grand prize he or she would have one account filled with ill gotten gains.

No one has used the block for ANY good reason other than that for YEARS!
It does suck that I can't give away any players or get any kind of giveaway to me but I'll survive lol.
On the grand scale of things, this is one move EA actually did RIGHT ha ha!
The trade block has been abused for years! People running multiple farm accounts ( I did this myself for many years until a couple years ago), all those freaking coin selling sites and so many other things that are against the terms of use for the game anyway. Plugging this hole to make the game better for everyone playing the game as it is intended is 100% the RIGHT thing to do.
I think it is VERY likely we never see the trade block again in MUT as there is NO legit reason for EA to keep it, period!
Farm accounts are against TOS. Hard to track down when people do it so they got rid of the trade block. No one used it to seriously improve their team so it doesn’t bother me

You don’t need trade block in a “let’s see who can build the ultimate team” mode. It’s an individual salary based game. Trading cards between users is not needed you can just buy and sell at the auction house. Whoever thought trading in this mode was a good idea probably is rethinking their decision.
People say “well I wanna trade cards with my friend so we can play squads” . What? Squads you bring your players and they bring theirs. You need to scheme up what players you get. You bring your team and they bring theirs.
Madden Ultimate team is meant to see who can make the best team, individually. Collaborating with other users should not be part of the steps to success.
