For players with Reinforcemnt...do you just need Deep Zone to get reaction boost?

I run both man and zone

Thinking about getting CJ Gardner with reinforcement

Was gonna put Deep Zone KO on him to get the reaction boost as its a 0AP ability for him

But will this only work in Deep Zones

 and not Man coverage or Mid Zone
