Free Agency - Welcome Pack Player: Kendall Fuller

No cap, this Kendall Fuller isn't a terrible free player card, once fully upgraded on theme team.  Sure there's a few caveats and a case could be made the 96 OVR PS2 WW is superior filling the same role... and you'd almost certainly be correct.  I'm using Fuller as Slot2 corner with 0AP Flat Zone KO (also has Pick Artist, unfortunately in the same bucket, which holds him back a bit) and he's played quite well, come up big a few times with clutch picks or knockouts.

There's so much to gripe about, but wanted to also give credit where it's due, it's nice to receive a usable card.  Perhaps it's worth investing a bit of time to finish the promo if you weren't sure.  He's no Sauce Garnder, who is IMO, a near perfect Slot corner... but still decent.  YMMV, have fun fam.

You know you don’t need pick artist at all if they’re play ball aggressive in air. Only for cards that are balanced or worse. If they’re agressive its pointless.

Wouldn't completely say pointless...everyone still swats at the ball without PA. Sure you'll still get picks, but with PA they're never going for a swat.

Fuller is the best free card I’ve used for awhile he got a great pick and hit stick fumble in his first game I didn’t know he would see the field but I wasn’t mad at his play at all.

He is good so far. Playing him at outside CB with PA and flat zone KO (flat zone is good in red zone)

Maybe more often but I’ve seen my pick artist guys swat too.

Finish the full Free Agency promo, there's a few stat requirements, 2000 total yards on offense and 10 H2H or Solo Battles wins, which took me the longest to complete. The rest weren't too bad, check your progress on the FA Objectives.

Absolutely. Getting tons of blown, or completely missed easy picks from my guys lately with Pick or LurkArtist. Swats galore. 

Obviously I prefer to have PA whenever possible, but lately it's come down to pairing Deep Zone KO with either Pick Artist OR Mid Zone KO, sadly not both. For me, the choice is obvious I'm running as many KOs as possible, Mid super underrated, although more people starting to use it in recent weeks. The more the merrier.

I got the 2 upgrade tokens from the FA PASS and the final level says it gives a 94 Binder FA player .

All that is left is to do Sets , I wasn't going to do that for a 94 binder guy .

Does the final level give the 94 card and the Token ?

If so I'll go do it now .

I've been done with that for like a week , didn't know the last level gave it .

Even if he gets the swat, what zone KOs primarily do is they start the break on ball when the qb begins his throwing motion as opposed to with no zone KOs they start to break as the ball leaves the qbs hand. So having a zone KO can still be the difference between a swat and a completion.

Great real-world breakdown describing what "improved reaction time" component of the various KO abilities actually means.

Without these Zone KOs, my defenders won't be in position to make a play on the ball, exactly as Nick just described.

Just checked H2H stats, Fuller had 3 picks (one pick six) in 18 games, across 247 downs played. Most people quit in the first half, games rarely go the distance.

I may end up reworking my entire defensive philosophy, putting all 11AP into my DBs, kind of surprised I'm not seeing me SecurePro still. It's totally changed my game, can almost pass the ball again finally. If I learn to possession catch properly. Damn KOs everywhere. 😝

Short side streak corner flat, with a drive concept on the backside is undefeated. they have to mable the streak corner flat, and then you can just high low read the user, but once they mable the short side you just flood opposite. Then when you beat the kid that celebrates every time he gets a first down by cheesing speed option, you can tell him to celebrate that L.
