By far the glitchiest blitz in the game and if you run this you are a bum with zero skill. How do you block this? I’ve tried ID’ing the blitzer or the DT. Neither worked, also tried a combination of those with sliding left or right… nothing. Blocking 7 doesn’t seem to work either. What do YOU do to counter this garbage play
colts playbook, add roaming deadeye, streak the middle receiver, B (red line) is always open.

Yes but I’m asking how to block it not beat it with a meta play lol. While I appreciate the help this is the most common offensive play I see in online H2H
Zan Madden has a video about this on YT

I mean the only way is what your doing rn so instead of meta if you have HRM use flat routes and dump offs curls are also effective as well since this coverage is mainly deep thirds on the outside.

Thanks. I’ll check it out… although I hate having to resort to YouTube to have fun playing a game

He mentioned Jon Beast stopped it with a double team the Re or Le. I can't recall all of it.

a ) bum with zero skill is a bad take
b) there’s a couple ways. Shifting line left works, I’m a fan of a blocked RB. A RB with a high pass block rating can be good (idk if you remember but franco Harris early this year was very good in the pass blocking). Block RB ID DT and shift left usually works for me. Sometimes you can just mic up that linebacker and block the RB. ALSO ID him last because shifting affects the Mike since it’s supposed to be the “unblocked“ defender and it’s usually the middle linebacker stock (rather than the sam or will linebacker)

All of this isn’t even needed. As someone stated you just double the LE.
Tells the line to block left

^ bump
there’s more than one way, some players and some abilities make different ways better or worse. I trust you on it, but if they have an unstoppable force it’s not always feasible to double team. Unstoppable force does make the a gap worse tho

why is it a bad take? does it really take skill to run to YouTube with all the AI manipulating dweebs and abuse this play? If the game was realistic you would just be able to ID the blitzer like actual linemen in football do to determine the guy to block… but that doesn’t work on this shitty game. I have no sympathy for anyone that runs these glitches

Actually it is…
the higher your elo is, more nuances you’ll see. Knowing how to adjust to their adjustments is a win win.

Id the Mike doesn’t work as well as you think, and sliding can be detrimental if you don’t know where the blitz is coming from. Blockin a back is helpful but if you’re sliding the wrong way i becomes irrelevant.
the quicker the adjustment setup the better.
Also no need to Id anyone unless the slot cb blitz side is blitzing as well. Then yes Id that guy. Otherwise the doubling of the left edge tell the line what they need to know.

Idk man picking good plays is a good decision and if it helps you win, it helps with the skill of madden
