Game looks the same …sigh

Have not  played the game in a while. Saw the EA play videos right now and I got to say it’s looking like it’s just another year. Unfortunately I don’t know how many times they’re going to get away with it but I saw so many things that were upsetting. After viewing the gameplay video I cannot believe just in the first half alone the amount of knockouts I saw Also it looks like the contains don’t work because the QB was easily able to roll out. I saw a player without even moving his feet get suctioned into a tackle. I saw Travis Kelce, who is an amazing player in open space drop a catch.

It’s literally the same exact cards and promos EVERY year minus the few new names we get each year. I’m staying on 23 and will switch to 24 when everyone moves over to 25 😂 rinse and repeat

I mean what do you expect? Last gen keeps current gen down. 

Theres only so much they can do between years from years of copying code and what they do to make it different.

I had an idea of what I really would like to see in the game for a change.  But a lot of people probably wouldn't care much for it at all. But Promos I think they should incorporate would be

O-line promo to me would be great because an O-line is just as important and they are some amazing athletes at the position and I feel like the O-line does not get the credit they really deserve.  And a D-line promo as well.

The game gets so many QB's, RB's, and WR's the way it is and no disrespect to any of those positions but I think trying something different would be a welcome from a lot of players.

What not throw in a K&P Promo? No not Key & Peele, but Kicker and Punters. 

I get the game is not using the ROLB and LOLB positions as much but maybe they should be. 

Just my opinion on something different that could give the game a bit of a change up when it comes to promos.

They used to do heavyweights for O/D line but yeah. Most people only care about skill positions and not the trenches which is why most people try to get free ones. 

K/P used to get more love here and there but it seems like theyre just trickling them out now.

I know they say skill positions but in reality the O-line is a skill position just like any position is for that matter. Bent over and blocking defenders to protect the QB or open holes for the RB is not an easy task and the wear and tear the guys in the trenches get can be brutal and I feel a lot of people don't see that these days. 

Yeah it's really kind of sad that they keep moving away from K/P and even the Linebacker position in the game has been getting a bit lack luster as well.

Don't think anyone expected any significant change.

Personally just hoping field sense has taken a step forward and content wise, hoping for fresh faces in the programs.

Sorry man but I can't stand stuff like this. Everyone knows how much money EA make on this game and there's just no excuse for the state of it right now. Strip away all the BS about AP and release OVR's and Lead Passing and Sapien Technology and Field Sense and blah blah blah, at its core, this is a poor game. It doesn't even do the basic things properly and it's been that way for years. Really, there's just no excuse for it. Unless people give them one.

Yeah I get it but they just copy code every year and change a few things which is why it never gets real updates. 

MUT is also the least grossing of all the sports games so they dont put too much time in it either. 

Of course it could be better but when people spend the money and time they do on it, theres no reason to change. Same with COD.
