Game not Tracking Hit Sticks

Been plaing the lastest breakout solos and in the last challenge you need to get a hit stick. Ingame it says boom or big hit but it doesnt count.
Anybody know a fix or is it just another bug?

Playstation 5? Does it happen on a play where the clock runs down to 2:00 or less in the second or fourth quarter? The challenges still have a bug where stats don't track in those cases.

Otherwise, I haven't run into issues with it.
