there are many ways to play around defenses and abilities and u just don't know how

having a ¨perfect team¨ or a high overall team means nothing. its all DDA or skill depending on the player

I'd like to see how many times you've won without abilities lmao. It's not that you can't completely stop it, it's that it's annoying to go up against almost every single game. You can't stop it every time even if you do run the meta.  You have to run a meta to stop a meta, which makes the game meta and the game boring. Me and many of us play online for the variety of schemes you can go up against, it keeps the game fun and fresh. I don't play so I go up against the meta 25 straight times.

He's awful. Theme Teams don't help how smart he is. 

93 awareness is atrocious and he's not powering anyone else on that line if they're not awful as well. 

Grab Chase, Andre, Glover, or Pouncey. 

They'll not only be a huge upgrade but they'll power someone else on your line.

It’s all alignment/Personell based. Don’t overthink it. If theyre running a 4/3 sam Will blitz you’re either going to have to make quick passes out of 11 personell or match the defenses “big” formation with 12, 22, or even 13 Personell. It would be nice to  be able to run what you want every game but some defenses force you to change you’re gameplan.  After all if you were prepared for everything and knew how to counter everything you would be one of the best madden players on the planet.

Edit:this is why I love the game of football because of the thought process involved in knowing the ins and outs of all formations attacks, how to run them, and how to counter them.  This ain’t checkers this is chess. Do yourself a favor and start making notes of what you struggle with . There are counters to everything . You need a solid if/then scheme. “IF they do this THEN I will do that.“

abilities are there for regular game flaws SFL is a must because its impossible to throw without it the corner KOs are there because wr would catch anything in the begging of the year without them so they gained popularity. whatever scheme you use should just be good enough to play against any defense. the meta is the meta for a reason and it will always be that way. plenty of random defenses these npc players run can give the meta trouble its not hard to stop anything but its hard to stop good players and elite ways these people run the meta or they just get lucky off dda and get into hell games.
