Why pay for likeness when we can just make up random people.
this is absolute doo doo butter

This has to be a joke. No offense to people who are excited for this promo but I am not a fan of it.
I kind of feel the same way.
If I wanted to play college football, I would get a college football game. I have played NCAA football.
If I wanted to play robot football, I would get a robot football game. I have played cyberball.
If I wanted to play Pokemon football, I would stop everything I was doing, and re-evaluate my choices in life. LOL
I personally bought Madden Football to play with NFL players and Legends.
If they want to come out with Ultra-Fantasy Football and have an assortment of different characters with different skill sets...that's an idea. I bought Mortal Kombat because of the Joker & Deadpool.

granted, there May not be many in the league now, but I gotta think there’s atleast a decent number of asian descent
Last year EA did a promo for Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month in May. So maybe they want to save some of those cards for then. But yeah seems like a missed opportunity.
Looks like it’s a combination of Gridiron Guardians and Motivator? Why didn’t they do those promos with actual NFL players to give the boost? Very bad concept to use these cartoons in an NFL licensed game. I wonder what the NFL thinks of EA making a mockery of the NFL in this “simulation “ game
I'm just laughing at this shit.
I didn't start playing in time for gridiron guardians last year, but I saw some token was needed for a Najee Harris card set that I couldn't get.
I was not able to get the token needed, but I could play some gridiron guardian challenges.
Is this program about the same as guardians were last year? I thought the dragons team was involved and the challenges were a bit more challenging than the typical promos?? This program seems to be close to something I played late in Madden 23, with the exception of the unique non-NFL player cards.

I am surprised about this promo. It reminds me of Revenge of Shinobi.....A ninja game where they threw in Spiderman and some other unexpected characters.
Promo is straight cheeks. Can't wait until someone uses a golden ticket on one of the 90s lmao
The noobest promo in Madden history. RIP Madden

I would like someone who means something to football, or the Madden football game.
If they won't give us all the greatest players throughout the history of the NFL, and there is no reason we should not get more of them, I would rather see cards for the top 20 Madden players since they mean something to this game.
They could easily wrap Madden Prize money together with an agreement to use their likeness.
Henry, Wes, Cobo, Mr. Football.......Let the art team do caricatures of them or anime character of them.
Eito Nakamura means nothing to me.
Some cool art and some solid high cards but yeah. The idea itself is stupid
Meanwhile my H2H event progress hasn't been tracking for a week. Missing around 200k in coins from the superbowl run event due to it, can't earn regular H2H rewards because of it and essentially haven't played for a week cause I can't earn anything.
Glad to see I've spent a week trying to get help from EA and getting nowhere....but they did have time to put out a garbage promo everyone hates. Classic EA
