Depends on what other kind of games you like. I recently got Robocop, which is a fun first person shooter.

Is it fun? I watched videos on it and it looks decent

I think it’s fun, not super hard. I do enjoy the first two movies a lot though. So I think the nostalgia factor increases my enjoyment.

I loved the movies. Does it continue from them?
dead island 2 if you haven't

Yes, picks up the story after number two.

I'm trying to branch out myself... casually tinkering with NBA2K MyTEAM, which is as much pay to win as MUT, however i'm mostly just playing the offline stuff in between fits of rage with Madden. Really looking forward to Elden Ring DLC on June 21st, but unsure if i'll be sufficiently motivated to replay the entire game leading up to that. Probably just gonna roll with my existing character, despite being slightly over levelled.
Hockey sounds fun, i should probably fire up NHL `23 or whichever one we have to see if i can get into it. Not trying to donate any more cash to EA in the immediate future. Someday i'll go back and play Jedi: Survivor, but after hearing how much of a buggy ass mess (at least EA is consistent across their titles) it was at launch, i'm not in any rush. Star Wars is a mess these days.

Nice. I might check it out

I picked up the NHL 24 x factor edition on sale for $30. You get 4600 points and a powerup player. It's late in the year so lots of players aren't that good but that's one thing i like about the NHL games, you can use the faster players for a long time even if their stats are not amazing.

You have my attention, i'm curious, although i've barely played any recent NHL -- a bit of `23, i think it might even still be installed on one of my consoles... i've been playing and enjoying various hockey games since Atari era, but especially loved the classic Sega and Super Nintendo NHL PA franchise, i think between 93 and 94, i must have played the shit out of those. Although the fighting was removed after `93, i believe.

Curious how Connor Bedard is looking in-game. Patrick Kane was my guy, but now that he's in uhhh Detroit with the Red Wings, i probably need to just move on.

I'm sure Bedard has a high overall card. I just got an 85 Patrick Kane card with like 92 speed which is really good and you can power him up with tokens. I got into it too late so i missed a lot of shit but my team is solid. I beat plenty of teams with 95+ everywhere

Finally saw that $29.99 deal you mentioned. I was initially on the wrong (regular/base) version of the game. Tempting. I'd have so much to learn, but I might check out the 10 hour trial to see if I can get into it.

It's been liek 4 years, but finally had to renew my PS+ subscription this weekend. Downgraded to whatever the base, or budget tier is. Not sure we ever really used any of the cloud streaming or classic titles. Curious if I'll notice, or miss anything. Paid a few years in advance before the prices went up.
