I’m using the Jordan Love stack of SFL + HRM + Gift wrapped. But I don’t find myself clicking hot routes as much. If I use GS i could save ap and then add apprentices for my other positions. So, HRM or GS?

Probably GS, you said yourself you don't use hot routes that much so for you it's probably worth it to make your qb better and only use ap on the important hot routes
Alright I’ll test him out with GS and see how much I like the difference. Thanks for the help.

It depends on the QB release. Love has the Slinger 1 release. You may struggle using this without GS. I use Andrew Luck without Gunslinger and he's still really good but he has the Traditional 4 release which is the best or 2nd best release in the game.
Yeah I saw a lot of reviews about that release. I don’t wanna screw myself over with that release so I’ll probably consider GS and test him out with it.

Slinger 1 is a top 3 release, no need for GS. Yes it was nerfed from being the best release last year, but it's still good enough not to use GS.

I would keep hrm because it sounds like you're saying if you took hrm off and saved ap going to gs, you would use the ap saved on apprentices. Why not just keep hrm in that case and know that you have hot routes for every position, no apprentices needed.

Some have struggled with Slinger 1 without GS this year. In the OP's case I would def go with GS over HRM considering they don't use their hot routes that often.

Yeah I was thinking that when I got into a game and went for my hot routes I would be like, oh i forgot I got gs and screw my self. I’ll take that into account. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have noticed that his release does seem to be a little off when I do any game but I always take it for granted. I’ll see if that causes any of my drives to change if I do change my ability stack.
When they dropped Tua and Love I got excited as anyone. But then I thought about it…
When you’re playing, notice which positions you’re hot routing. Which ones your scheme depends on. If it’s just the 1 or 2 positions (which might be based on how you described it) then you might want to use that ap else where. HRM is nice but gotta figure out what’s needed and base AP around it.
gs is super important to me so gotta go with gs
He just doesn’t throw that great of a ball for whatever reason, not sure it has to do with GS or not. I’m a huge packer fan and sold this card after a few days use because it wasn’t getting the job done. I’m using Passtronaut since yesterday and it’s way better.
I used Love with HRM + SFL and I couldn’t play how I wanted, the only hot routes I really did were Zigs and Corners on my slot, so I switched back to Perry with a slot apprentice and haven’t looked back

I'm with you on this... if we don't get the ball out quickly (on time), no amount of adjustments will matter. Certain releases perform fine without needing Gunslinger, such as Andrew Luck i'm totally content running his 5AP stack, with only SFL & Gift Wrapped, freeing up the others for exactly what you are doing; TE Apprentice (THE most important, IMO, allows us to run double corner routes) and Slot Apprentice.
I recently switched from Dri Archer to James Cook, so missing the RB Apprentice for those sweet, sweet Texas routes from the backfield. Might circle back and eventually try Backfield Master, but for 2AP that's still feeling a bit steep. Dumb luck provided me with Megatron yesterday, so i've also been considering either Route Tech or Deep Elite (for 2AP). But Gift Wrapped is often free and works on basically ALL passes, so unsure how well these abilities stack.
