Idk wtf going on with this last game I played. Literally every play. Instantly got through my line. I couldn't do anything!! And yes my offensive line is goof.
You gotta identify what he was doing. What position did he come out in? Where was the pressure coming from? Once you know that, then you can figure out how to handle it.
Besides knowing how to hold players in to block, how to slide your protection and how to identify the mike, here are a couple generic tips:
Slants, drags and zigs are great man-beaters.
If you're facing a zero blitz, they are in man coverage. Use this to your advantage, especially with your fastest receivers. Do not call any plays where you come out under center (unless your intention is to audible into shotgun).
Running the ball at the blitz can sometimes be the antidote. Traps can be excellent for this reason.
Don't forget to motion block if you're still getting pressured and can't figure out another solution.
Attack their user. Use route concepts to force their user into tough decisions. Figure out tendancies. Exploit those tendancies.

Maybe he was just that dang good. I've never played someone where they got at me like that. He played pretty lousy on offense. But his defense ate me up. 2nd half that's all I was able to do was throw quick slants. After that game I need a new controller. Lol. I was hitting buttons so hard and rough. I can hear a raddle in my controller now. Thanks for the tips!! I'm gonna start practicing more versatile plays to prepare.

All great tips... another is to know which of your offensive formations are best for max protection. If guys are sending 6... 7... 8 at you then it's best to come out in formations with TEs on both ends of the formation... or a TE on one side and HB on the other. Being able to motion over a WR to add a blocker is great if needed.
